OT: why is this man smiling like a fukken maniac???

because he just took delivery of a 1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello with under 4000 miles !!!!

for comparison his FORIEGN car vs my AMERICAN copcar...

he has been saving forever, and finally pulled the trigger 2 weeks ago after looking for 6 mo.
First time for me in a Ferrari, V-12, 470hp, jesus-H-fukken-Christ!!! That car moves and sounds like nothing else.

I'm in the wrong biz...

Every dime of "sponsorship" is well spent when the result is cool iron like the 550, eh?

I don't even dream of cars like the 550, they are so far away from my reality.

My car dreams are more on the order of getting some cool new carpets for my copcar.

woppi, post those pix!!!

For perspective: my 2005 copcar ($7100) cost LESS than the wheel option ($8000) on that Ferrari.

Those wheels would be tight on my tacoma. LOL Really though if i owned that car the first time someone leaned up against it and scatched it i would be in prison for murder so i really dont need one even if i had the money 2 buy 1.

Just curious, what is Andy's kid's name?

You have to convince him to bring it to the Texas Mile for a spin or two.

I think I remember him telling me about a blue one a while back that slipped through his fingers..............red is much better.

He might show up at the mile with the 550, but he won't be running it yet. Gotta have some soak time; prolly in Mar.
