nitrous map questions
how exactly should i change my map for use with a dry shot? Im thinking about trying a 20 and a 40 shot.(so i need 2 maps plus the NA map for a total of 3?) I dont have a custom map, just a good one i got from a member. (I can post a pic of what the map looks like when i get home) my ignition is advanced 3 degrees also, at what point do i start backing it off to stock? and do i do that progressivly or all at once? thx!

You may want to just get it dyno tuned to make sure there are no lean areas. That would be money well spent. But I have seen people running 20 and 40 shots all the time without doing anything. I would not do that though.
I would not worry about running a progressive box or you may not ever feel that 20 shot.

I think Osti said he just bumped the high end button a couple of times on the PC for added fuel
I have read that the rule of thumb on ignition retard is 2.5 degrees retard from 0 per 50 hp
mindful its just rule of thumb.
I also recall shiptee saying he was running a dry 40 with no retard ....
Gary's advise is best.....go to the dyno to be sure not to melt down. I bet you could get mapped and see the afr graph much cheaper than a meltdown......and peace of mind
let us know what you decide
