Wildman Breaks Arm in Crash

Yup, broke my arm on Saturday... It ain't no fucking fun either.
How? After all these years riding motorcycles, I break my arm crashing my fucking mountain bike!
*hint* Don't try riding up too many steps at once.
I gotta stick to the dirt where it is so much softer.
So I'll be car bound for a while, the pretty green bike will be out in the garage being lonely. And I'll be sitting home from work being bored. Can't work, so I can't be spending money to play.

Missed you guys at the gap, perhaps I can make it in the fall.... If I heal up pretty soon, and If we don't go on strike.
I'll be off to see the orthopedic people in a little while, Hopefully they'll fix me up good.

Tough Break Dude...

At least you don't have to spend a bunch of money fixin up your motorcycle. Bicycles are relatively inexpensive compared to the 12!! Get well and I hope that cast doesn't itch too bad!!

Hey Wildman, sorry about the arm, things are breaking everywhere.

Shouldn't things be "A-Poppin" in a good way up by you soon ?

Sorry to hear about the arm Wildman.
But the way injuries are going around here this year, consider yourself lucky.
Get well soon,
Steve

Thanks for the good wishes everyone.
Yes, I was actually very lucky. No cast for me. I have a fractured ulnar radius (if I remember right). Doc said there isn't anything to do but wait and give me Vicodan. I may be able to get back to work in 2 to 3 weeks.

Angi: Thanks, I was sorry to hear about yours too. It sounds like you got it *way* worse than me.

BMW: actually, bicycle sustained no damage at all. Things are nearly indestructible. (wish I were)

Swft: Ummmmmmmm

Thanks Rick, yeah ain't it though.

Dave: Third sunday in july and third sunday in august. I'm gonna try to make it to at least one of em.

Thanks Steve

Sorry to hear about that. I went back to the doc today and he said my wrist is all healed up from my crash back in May. I just wish it wasn't still sore....have to do some mobility exercises for the next few months.

Broken bones suck!

Those damn bicycles! They'll kill you!

I have seen some nasty crashes, road rash, broken bones etc. from bicycle crashes. Corse it doesn't help that we tend not to wear alot of protective equipment while riding them.

Heal up fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!
