ZX12 Girl, Ping?
Where did you learn to ride and how did ya get started riding? Dirt bike's? Street bike's? What kind of street bike? I hope this is'nt to personal. I was just wondering.

Right know I am the "Crutch" Queen. I don't get on the computer too often because it is not real comfortable....

Well, I did start riding a mini-trail at the age of 5. and have road a couple dirt bikes. I did not get serious into "Riding" until about 4 years ago shortly after I married my "Motor head" hubby.
Now, I have always been a speed Freak....Bought a new 5-speed Camaro with some big slicks on the back. I drove the hell out of that car!!! (5 years)
When I got married, my hubby really wanted me to ride with him (On the back).... well, I tried it.....Totally hated it. I can not stand riding B%@ch. So....One day...I said "Can I take your bike for a spin?"....I was asking to ride his Classic totally Restored/Mint Kawasaki KZ900.... Must have been love because he let me!!! LOL
Anyway.....At that point, I really liked being in the driver's seat. We bought an OLD - 86 Ninja 600 and he totally restored that bike for me. I rode that for a year and wanted a new bike. I bought a Brand new Kawasaki ZX6E. I really liked that bike but.......
We went to Florida on Vacation and the Hubby gave up the key's to the Hayabusa.....OH! MY GOD!! I lost my stomach from the acceleration and was in Heaven....Loved it!
We got back from Vacation and.....We ride allot......The guy's kept dusting me. I had that 6E pegged and they all walked from me, by the time that I caught up to them, they were parked and taking their helmets off.....I WAS PISSED!!!
So....I said...."I am getting a bigger Bike!".....End of Story....I Bought the ZX12R and they DO NOT leave me anymore.
There is nothing like the speed / acceleration from a high powered motorcycle. I tried Drag racing and was hooked the very first time.....That is my element...
Now keep in mind that we RIDE...I have logged at least 10-15,000 miles every year....Love to ride / Love my ZX12R / Love to Drag Race!!! The guy's keep saying that I am a Natural....Yeah! A Natural Speed Junkie !!!

I was just wondering cause I'd like to get my wife riding but she can't even drive a manual tran's car. And she won't ride on the back of the 12. I've thought of getting a moped. But it's so small. But anything bigger and I'd be afraid she would get hurt.
Maybe it's just not meant to be for my wife to ride.

Well.....
Healing is going SLOW AS HELL!!
Everthing thing is going as planned by the Dr. It is just a game of hurry up and wait!!!!
I have -
30 days before the next Dr. visit.
Hopefully I will be able to start letting my foot touch the ground and allow a little bit of pressure after that!!!!
He put me off work for 3 months total so I have about 74 days left!!!!

Does she like speed / fast acceleration???? or does she get scared if you push it in a car????
If she get's scared with speed in a cage than I would say forgetaboutit!!!!
If she likes acceleration (in a car)and just does not know how to ride a bike than she may enjoy it!!! I guess my question is - why won't she get on the back of your ZX12R???

at sportbikewest 2000, there was a 5yo girl riding around on a trail bike (in full gear of course) in the camp site next to us. cute as a button she was. there's just something about the juxtaposition of "sugar and spice" and "puppy dogs' tails" thats nothing short of adorable. and the cherry on top: her little brother (3 or 4?) was chasin her on foot half the time too cute! i can jsut imagine the 2 of them, 20 years later, chasin each other around arenacross on their 250cc motos
so ya got any pics of u trashin the yard on yer old trail bike zx12girl?

She's not into speed. She don't like my bike. But since I love my bike she let's me enjoy it. But she would have no problem with me selling it today and losing half my money. She don't like motorcycle's. I think she would change her mind if she could ride though.
We stopped at a Harley Dealer to waste some time before dinner one evening. And she said I think I could ride with you on that. It was a big Hertiage something. I like the Lowrider's. But not enough to buy one LOL.
I don't know what to do. Maybe if I could get her to get on my Ninja she might like it. I'm lost and just trying to figure it out.
Get well soon ZX12Girl. So you can get some wind in your face.
