So much for having a bad PC3R????
As some of may have read a month or two ago I thought my PC3R went bad. Bike was intermittently cutting out and stalling. Yesterday I finally got a different PC3, another used one. Hooked it up, loaded my map and went out to meet some friends for a ride. Bike stalled once at a red light and I thought maybe I had the idle too low. After a few miles bike starts cutting out again and stalls, just like before. But this time my buddies were behind me because I was leading. I restarted it and it was OK but I drove straight home, with them following me. When I got home they told me that my LED tail light was flashing and doing all sorts of weird stuff. I said Hmmm and found a new power source for the PC up by the fuse box and now all is well. Runs perfect. Anyone else ever had this happen????

My PC3 Has been working fine. But I have heard of some people running into problems with them. I have come to learn that there are certain reliability issues that come up when you swap in anything aftermarket. Sort of the price to pay for performance.

Almost zero problems if you are careful with the connections.

I believe that my LED intergrated tail light is the problem. It is acting funny and I believe that it is messing with the power commander when it is hooked into the brake light power source like it is susposed to. I am going to get a new LED soon and hook it back up correctly.

Is your tail light grounded properly?

I am going to check it this weekend. The light for the licence plate went out a few months ago. Junk E-bay stuff!
