Are ART Huggers any good for fit and look?

Re: Art junk

I ordered one from them on line more than a year ago. The charge went through on my credit card 2 months before I saw the hugger.

When I got the hugger I knew it would never make it on my bike. Finish was bad. There were stray bits of loose carbon fiber in the clearcoat. The clearcoat was not evenly applied and had cloudy areas. The chain gaurd portion was warped bad enough that half the chain was exposed at the end.

After 5 unanswered emails I had to call them (England) and they sent me a replacement. The result...same junk.

My recommendation is stay away.-ZXtra

I'm using an Art hugger at the moment. Fit is O.K. but finish was poor in a few areas but fortunately they couldn't be seen when fitted. Just looking for an excuse to replace it.

Cheers
