Try to give more detailed information. Did you switch back to the air injection because it is smoking? Did you just aquire the bike? What kind of milage ? Was a fuel map recently done? etc.

i had originally bought the machine from a older gentleman with 6300 on the clock last year, put the exhaust, power commander, air filters, blockoff plates on during the winter then had it dyno tuned by a repitable shop, smoked at WOT ever since then and stinks like oil. Bike has 19k on the clock now but has been meticously maintained oil changed every 1200 miles etc. and never smoked previosly to putting mods on, so i figured it was the air injection cause i heard of people having problems with the bike smoking on decel, didnt fix it although it does run alot better now that i put it back on, please let me know if u need to know any more

Im probably wrong .....at least I hope I am

What have you done with the crankcase ventilation system? If you aren't sufficiently venting the crankcase, you can experience problems similar to the ones you have. You can also oil-starve the motor if the crankcase pressure gets too high.

Question, can the crankcase pressure get to high if the CV system is left in the stock location to the airbox (frame)? I am guessing that the reason why some of us see oil leaks (can sensor, valve cover, the dreaded stator connector) is becuase of this. Crankcase pressure builds because of blowby and the pressure in the airbox is adding to that when ram air is in full effect.

Check for oil in the airbox due to the crankcase breather vent point.

The Clean air valve body contains a foam "Oil Absorber". I would take it off, dis-assemble and clean with a low flash point solvent. Also, pull the vavle cover and check and service the reed valves.

At this point, you should pull the plugs, inspect or replace and do the compression check.

More than likely you are drawing oil into the exhaust ports thru the air injection ports from around the seals under the valve cover.
Its a very common problem but an easy fix.
Remove the valve cover and clean the air feed tubes in the head. Twist some small cloth rags and stick them in there about an inch or so and do it several times with a solvent on the rag. Once you have cleaned out those passages so there is no residue on the rag any more, inject silicone sealer in the tubes and fill about an inch worth of the tube untill its flush with the top of the tube.
Wait 24 hours before starting it.

Doug, i dont think i have it plumbed wrong, i got the vacumm hose from the throttle bodys going into the slot for the tube on the front of that canister and that bigger hose going to the air box, i dont think i have it mixed up, it was smoking like this when i had the block off plates on also.

I don't quite get that. But then I don't have it in front of me to look at.
Where is the case vent going?

case vent is all stock i havent touched it, only thing i did do was take off the kleen air system, pluged the vacumm line from the throttle bodies and plug the bottom of the air box where that existing hole was from the kleen air canister hose, and put those plates on, started smoking at WOT and decel, so i put the system back on the way it came off, havent touched the CC vents or anything like that, i did notice it ran better after i put the system back on, but oil is still getting by somewhere i wack it i get smoke and when i let off i get a puff of lingering blueish smoke, so its obviosly oil, just cant figure out where its coming from, friggen exhaust stinks to.
