Anyone Know where I can get Large Spiral Circlips RETAIL??

Been trying to finish a Project for a Friend and all finished Except 1 item! I need a Spiral CirClip Heavy Duty that is about 62 MM OD and about 48 to 50 MM ID (5.5 to 6.5 Ring Width) I found that "Smalley" makes such a ring but has a MIN Order cost of $50.00! That is a lot of money for 1 or 2 Spiral RIngs

I could also use Tamp Proof RIngs because they have wider aRing Width!
HELP!!

Go to http://www.mcmaster.com/ and do a Find on retaining rings. There are some that are close, but you haven't stated how you're planning on using the ring. No minimum orders.

Im sure Mr Hill found what he was looking for but it sure is handy to have the "big book"
if you call the toll free # they may still send you one no charge

Godd source Tim " MacMaster Carr"

McMaster-Carr is the greatest racing supply super-warehouse in existence. I've been in the will call line standing behind guys from factory Kawasaki, Attack Performance, No Limit Motorsports, etc. Same day couriers, no minimum orders and an unbelievable selection of stuff to build, service and maintain race bikes are just a few reasons why I place at least one or two orders per week with them. Need to find a cartridge of Dow-Corning BR2-Plus grease like your factory service manual recommends? Need a 20mm shaft collar to disassemble your fork cartridge? How about a really good torque wrench? Maybe some Dykem? Some paint markers for your take-off tires? Radiator screens? Long hex sockets? Stainless socket-head cap screws? Electrical connectors? Left-hand metric taps? Cylinder hones? It really does boggle the mind what they have in stock.

McM-C is awesome, but they don't carry any Pozole in stock, nope, none.

Luckily, I was able to source an excellent "design", and made my own.

?? Karl on the P Word?

I went to them and got exactly what I wanted in the exact size and I still had an account there! They ship from New Jersey for me and total for 5 including shipping was $10.00

Finally I will be able to get that WHeel out of my house back to the owner and we all can be happy!

Well, they don't have any pozole on hand for sale, but I'm sure there's plenty in the break room refrigerators...

So Vincent, when you wrote that you "went to them", did you mean McMaster-Carr?

I believe Karl (Mr. Cane) is referring to my shitless menudo recipe, aka pozole or posole.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pozole

"The story of pozole is obscure, but some believe that the stew originated with the natives of Tonalá, Jalisco. After the arrival of the conquistadores, Tonalá's legendary queen Cihualpilli threw a banquet in their honor and pozole was served. After the priests found out the secret behind the recipe (human flesh), a decision was made to change the human flesh for pig's. Pozole spread throughout New Spain with variations in different regions according to local tastes."

"Pozole" refers to human remains that have been put through a meat grinder or have been destroyed with acid

At least that what "some young guy" from Socal told me

Karl is into everything! He made me a HIT in South Africa with his Bad word "Afrikaner" Dictionary.

When I was saying their words, (My guess is) it sounded like a Black person on TV Speaking perfect Chineese or British where the Picture does not look like what you hear!

hey vince, i am glad you got mileage out of that africaner dictionary; i also think it is funny as hell, and gig my S African buds at every opportunity.

Tim is the one who turned me onto pozole, and last weekend she asked when i was gonna make more. As much as i like the stuff, i wanna "manage her expectations", about how frequently she expects to see me doing anything in the kitchen. Once every 3-4 years???
