How do I safely remove factory stickers off my 12???

On my fuel tank, there is a sticker that I want to remove that just recommends what kind of fuel to put in. How can I remove that so it doesnt take off any of the clear coat and not mess up anything with the paint job???

Just peel it off, bro. If you remember, I'm the one who took off the Kawasaki. Use Goo Gone, Goof Off, or WD-40 to remove whatever adhesive is left on the tank.

Here's what it will look like:

That's a good point. Use it sparingly, and don't apply it directly to the paint. In other words, dampen a soft rag with it, then use the rag to remove the adhesive.

Go to a good auto parts store with an automotive paint section. Look for 3M solvent for adhesive removal. It works and is asafe on all of the various surfaces I have encountered on cars and motorcycles. You have to be patient as you soften the sticky crap and slowly rub it off. But it works safely.
