Considering 02 zx12
Whats up everyone. I am strongly leaning towards coming back to the zx12 camp. I am curious as to what type of power everyone is seeing from their 02 ZX12s. My last ZX12 made 170 at the wheel, and I left it for a GSXR1000. My riding mainly consists of back road high speed blasts with an occasional curve here and there. My only day to ride is Sunday, and I'm not normally with a group, but when I am I always try to ride near the front. The Gixx hasn't seemed to allow me to do this as I am a heavy guy (245). Would this move be a good one?

For flat out blasts, I don't think you could do much better than an '02 12. With yer (and my) weight, gotta just take a 'reality check' when it comes to cornering with the flyweights. Course, a dry shot of NOS would put you back up at anyone's pack on that 1000.

I'm about 225lbs and my 12 still makes me feel like my arms are being pulled out of their shoulder sockets. I love the strait roads but it handles really well also in the curves. No complaints. Comfortable ride. Gotta go blue. Aaaaah...just hit 1900 miles today and I've had it for a month. Gotta get back to riding....get a 12 and you wont be dissapointed! I guarantee it.

Don't Ride One
If you ride an 02 12 you will buy one, just keep that in mind.
