front suspension knocking on zx 12 2004
i would like to know if somebody had a front suspension knocking , let me explain! when i take the bike for a ride and i going at low speed a hear knocking, comming from the front of the bike, at first i taught it was my the sterring bearing, it is not .
i think is comming from the suspension and i don't know what is it?
if sommebody know what is it! i will appreciate

loose brake pads along with alittl runout ?
Mine does the same thing but have yet to find anything wrong other than alittle runout on one of my discs and one of my new brake pads does fit the pin as well as the other three

The four-pad calipers tend to wear, allowing the pads to rock. Also, the pads are retained by a single pin, which cannot react out a moment like the two-pin setups can. The clunking noise is the backing plates striking the caliper.

I think if you put an aftermarket pipe on the bike your problem will be solved.

I think he means that you won't be able to hear the clunking any more.

Had the same sort of sound.....
Found it to be the ram air intake tube. It vibrated and made a very loud rattling sound at slow speeds.
Take apart your fairings. Put some anti-chafe tape along the edges of your parts to cushion and silence the rattling and put it all back together tightly... sound gone.
