Ok, the next batch will go out tomorrow.

I had to make yet another batch so that everyone who wanted one could get one.
So now once again I have several left over.

Anyone interested drop me an email and I'll get one out to you.

Ted G. and Steve H.

Email me

Thanks.

zx12rpilot, Thats good idea. I just got a digital camara a short while ago, I used to have to borrow one for pics. Next time the bike is apart I'll try and shoot some pics.

If any of you guys that have one and have a camara want to snap some shots off while putting it in that would be great.

Its really quite an easy job putting it in. Just follow the directions.
I never tried installing one with the cleanair still on... that could be trickier. But just cut a small slit in the middle where the vacuum line is and run it thru the blanket.

Haveabusa12r, Email me please, JGilnack@earthlink.net

Thanks.

To the folks in UK,Sweden,Germany etc. Email me when you get them. I had 2 damaged last year going overseas. I'll send out another right away if that happens.

Well, I just got a pretty good camera and I have a blanket on the way. I'll give it a shot, but if I fuck it up, I'm deleting the pictures...

just put it in. looks pretty good! nice tight fit, only thing is a got so many vacuum hoses by the throttle bodies that i cant get the 5" piece all the way down. i'm gonna have to clea up that mess one day when i drop the engine.

btw, has anybody ever found a plug that actually fits the kleen air hole in the airbox? i used electrical tape but thats long since come off. i imagine duct tape will hold better, but still not too confident about that either. anyone got an actual part #?

Freek, it takes a little time to get it worked down to the intake ports. Just use a long screwdriver and try not to damage the blanket.
Its important to go all the way down to the ports thou, thats what keeps the throttle bodies cool.

Freek, TAPE WONT HOLD! Apparently the vacuum from the motor will suck it in. Best bet is to put a fender washer with some aluminum tape.(like AC guys use) Or go to Home Depot and look at the plugs there.

k, i'll spend some more time on it next time i got the bike apart. it's withing 1cm at the ends and within 2cm of touching the ports in the middle, so it's pretyt close, but i can see it's supposed to be closer still. i just have to tie some of the vacuum tubes together with zip ties to keep them compact. they keep trying to push the blanket out. thats prolly cause i didnt plug the T properly when i removed the kleen air system.

this is the first time i'v ever looked forward to ridin thru downtown in traffic! i just wanna see how well it works
