Drag Strip Tire
I have read just about all the threads on the tires because I to am looking for a better tire. BUT!, I am looking for a 90% drag strip tire. I hardly never get a chance to ride my bike to work or down to Galveston anymore so it had pretty much become a drag strip bike/toy for me. What are you thoughts on the best drag strip tire? I noticed at the track this past weekend that just about all the bikes that run in the 9'2 are running some sort of Mickey Thompson tire. Thoughts?

djones,
Mickey Thompson MCR2 is the way to go. I use mine 90% track also and it works fine on the street, although I don't do any railing. Spencer has em.

mr jones
mcr2 is about $200-210 delivered, worth every penny IF you have ext arm.
with stock arm, mr crotch is on target; mt not needed. i've done 9.63 on stock arm with dunlop 207 lots o' folks have done better, but then again they are not usually TFA charter members!
