Heres a couple of pics of me and the new beast, I just got her tonight.
2001 model, just less than 3000 miles on the clock and I paid £3000. woohoo.

Bike is totally standard but that will change once the bank ballance has gone up a bit lol.

Yep, mighty fine looking beast Spike, enjoy.

Keyword is "one", the ZX11 has the 12R beat hands down in the looks department.

sorry yes it is the 2000 model just registered in 2001, keep forgetting about all the different models that change year to year.

I still need some sort of input on suspension settings as it seems to not like going round corners much, front seems a little vague, its alright when going for it but iwas mainly on about when your round town or just wanting to ride at legal speeds.
Any advice would be soo helpful.

Thanks again

Save up your money for an Ohlins shock. Worth every penny (or is is pence or shilling or whatever.....) anyway you'll love it even though it is a big nut.

Doug;

I had Race Tech rework mine w/ Gold valves, oil and a custom machined Cap for the Resi.

Works Sweet and rebuildable!

TBH spending A lot of money on a shock for a bike that only has 3K on the clock does not seem a viable option to me.
As well as the bike will only mainly be used for two up rides/holidays or the odd blast round with the lads, I have a CBR600RR for my track days and the serious blasts out with the boys.

I have found a site that gave me some options to try out on the settings so will have a fiddle at the weekend and see what happens.

Leave all that stuff on there Spike, then show up at the track and smoke Shiphteey's ass with it. Deep down I still wish I would of found one when I found my 1000(but I'll never admit it to a couple of these guys).
Very nice, Congratulations!
Todd
PS: What's £3000 in $
