butterflies removal.......

hi guys.. I have a 2007 zx14, and had removed the flies and remaped my bike. my friend hase a bone stock zx12r from 2005. he like to know if there is also a power increase posible with his bike .... let us know if there is some nowledge here with flies removal..... thanks.

I have removed them off my 04 which is the same bike as the 05. Cant tell you that I felt a difference, but my bike has run th best /4 mile numbers with out them . So I left them out.

Has anyone else removed them. I think we should be able to pick up a little something removeing them.

well, it helped a lot with my 2007 zx14, in combination with the pc3 usb... and those flies are just a build in brake for the motor.... I know only the newer models have those flies, and remove these andin combination with a pc3 usb would chance the 12 in a beast also. or mayby it helped so much on the new 14 because of the inviromental ""brake"" they build in with those flies......

Yes.. Navpreet removed his flies and noticed a difference.. also try 2.5 degrees of ignition advance..
