Sorry, my motor has been cced at Bonneville in 9/06 by the AMA and FIM guys....ever heard of them? Since then Rick Beggs has pulled apart and put together my motor just in time for the TX mile 3/07. If you're calling Rick a cheater for taking apart and putting together my stock displacement motor Bergie, why not send him a message on myspace since he's on your friend's list and tell him you think I have a cheater motor? You would directly be calling him a LIAR when he says the motor is stock displacement while you assert otherwise! LOL if anything my MPH shows I have some work to do given my HP and weight, LOL!
What are you talking about in terms of mph? Last I checked 202.9 mph and 202.7 mph is
FASTER
than you have gone, not that it really matters. So claiming that I can not do what you do therefore I'm calling you a cheater shows you are devoid of logic. I have not only gone as fast as you but I have gone fastER. Get it? Or, like engine displacement, you're just having trouble computing it all?

I'm 5' 11 and weigh 200 pounds and I've gone 204.722 mph in the standing mile on 195rwhp.
How much power were you using to go 202 ON NITROUS?

I didn't hear a peep from you when Dr. Ryan Scarsella ran 186 on spray in the mile, nor did I hear anything negative about Shane's 184. How many times has Vincent Hill fell short of 200 mph? One time. WOW. W/the tailwinds we had in March I'm sure I could have run the same thing if I wanted to had I run with fairings. Again, the difference between you and I is your MPH claims are there to mask your insecurities. If anything, based on our MPH we are pretty evenly matched, probably closer than any 2 other zx12s at Maxton if you sit down and look at the numbers closely.

That is a good question and i would have to answer an HONEST (ahem) "I don't know" given the elevation up there, my rich set-up and the effects of ram air vs the HP sapping elevation. Keep in mind I ran into a 10 mph headwind 199 on GPS and 208 the other way on GPS. Their trap speeds showed 2 less on those runs than my GPS since nitrous fades in a 1 mile flying trap! I didn't run the 5 mile course, I ran the 3 mile. 208 could have been higher but I didn't predict that kind of wind and had to keep getting off of the nitrous button 100 or so RPMS before the limiter. On my only calm nos run I was going to go for it but under the advisement of Scott Guthrie he said I should save the motor and get a feel for everything so I just played around doing the button dance here and there, still did 199. Why the capital letters? Was it a feeble attempt at saying that in 5 miles with the help of nitrous I could only muster such a slow speed? Last I checked you
didn't make the 2200 mile drive to Bonneville,
you weren' there and
you didn't run in those conditions.
Maybe you still don't understand how Bonneville works. You have to manage wheelspin in the first portion, then, if you're a nos guy, you have to decide when you're going to spray and hold your highest MPH throughout the entire flying mile knowing full well it will probably taper off a bit. N/A motors can stay on it the whole way through and don't have to worry about such a huge variable affecting their MPH. As far as nos attempts, besides the button dance w/no winds I had no other passes and had to make a best guess on when would be the best time to spray. I did my best on a
LEGAL MOTOR THAT THEY VERIFIED!
so your repeated efforts and diminishing my accomplishments are futile.

I have never seen either of you guys act like this! What did I miss! Bergie is not perfect, but he does hold REAL Records that are still difficult to tie or beat at Maxton EVEN NOWADAYS.

VH and others are my friends and everyone starts somewhere, where as you have done nothing but discount others accomplishments and talk trash since day one on this board and others.

Ali, I just came back from a short ride where I thought about this. WHen I first met Bergie, I did not like him that much and had some feeilngs that made me feel sort of mis trusting.
The saying is, Actions speak Louder than words. Bergie did NOTHING BUT GOOD for me. WHen he did not know me he let me in on some Dyno tuning (I never could have afforded myself) let me work on my bike under his shade (OLD people do not do well in the heat and he does not know how much that menat to me) he Posted a video of me on his web site I could show my friends and even today if I need some pictures posted he will host them for me!
Getting to know him is a little like getting to know me. The person on the outside is totally different from the one on the inside. He is also one of the people that Pierre (Bear Racing) holds as a freind also because he was one of the first "2" People that used his Velocity stacks to set a record and posted this on his web site. (Bergie, you still need to PM me an Address and size to send your 3 Ninja Shirt Pierre gave me for you in SA or if you are at MIR I will bring it there). The DIfference is, you may like me at first then hate me later  Bergie you may hate at first and then Like later
Ali, I also consider you a friend of mine and you know what I tried to get done and still working on when you were not treated right also.
Take a look at all of this from a different view. Supposed you spent your money and a LOT of time to get some records and then some skinny kid came along and talked trash about how he was going to beat your record! There is no way someone can change their body to the point that they can lose from 200 Plus to a little over 100 Plus. SO the Skinny Kid has a advantage that is not easy to overcome so you do nothing to help him achieve his success but you also do nothing to hinder it either!
We are all allowed to talk trash here in the US Last, I just read a post where you were asking about "0" Weight Oil! I saw where Bergie posted what he knew about this oil from the usage you had planned for it. That did not look like someone that was trying to keep you back. We are all different. The reason my friends are all SPecial is that even after they know how I am, they are still my friends because they can read my heart and not my mouth. Take a step back and let this go. You truly have bigger Fish that need to be fried so do not be like the US and fight too many wars at the same time and fight neither of them to the best of your ability.

Vincent, I see what you're saying. The main problem is that this really all stemmed from his disrespect from day one. His oil post was arguably his only non-negative post....EVER. And I'm DEAD SERIOUS about that. Anyways, I'm done. I'm not "taking his record" because he runs n/a and I spray, we are in completely different classes. Besides, Sal already demolished Bergie's record, the only one he has standing is a lackluster 177 mph naked run. And had he not taken shots at me for years I'd never even wasted my time with this route. But maybe he'll think twice before him talking trash about someone's efforts, let alone making up LIES saying I did. He's even admitted to intentionally singling my posts out.....from day one. I still remember sept 05....I ran 189 and 192 on nos.....and from then on its been relentless w/him. He finally gets it back and can't take it. He didn't have to say anything, or he could have kept the negative comments minimal, but best believe all he did was diss all the way. Like HIM I put time and money in this sport and have helped others too, I didn't deserve some condescending moron feeling threatened at my accomplishments and trying to piss on my accomplishments. As stated earlier, from way back in the day I had tons of respect for this guy. But as time unfolded he showed his true colors. I can't help but think this guy feels threatened by my accomplishments or misses the limelight or something.

I haven't raced at Maxton in years because I had a family, changed jobs, and moved to another part of the country. Financial reasons also applied.
I held an N/A record for 4 years. Respect that I earned and you've dissed that with accusations of cheating!
If ever the reason I was hard on you is because you're a trash talker. Trash talking is for the dinner table, not the internet, where translation and meaning is not lost in the keyboard!
My comments may have been snickery but you've also misunderstood the meaning behind many of them. What you may take as insult often carrys advice. Grow up, mature some, and you'll live longer. Maxton is and should be about friendly competition. i am planning on going and will probably volunteer like i did last time. If you guys get into a confrontation i hope it is not at the event (i really hope you don't) .
I am not that fast but i will be trying to go faster in the future.
I'm swiss on this matter. I know both of you guys and i try to get along with everyone. If i don't like somebody i don't talk to them and avoid them.
