My first time at the drag strip.
I am somewhat satisfied with my first attempt at racing the 12 last night. The first thing to note is we had a terrible head wind. 15 mph with gusts up to 30 according to the news. Stock gearing (which I now see SUCKS for the strip), slightly lowered, strapped. I went 4 passes with the best of 10.41 @ 139 with a terrible 1.9 60ft. Bike didn't feel like it was starting to pull till the end of the track and my launches need lots of practice. I was coming out about 5500-6000 on my best 2 passes. My second best was 10.55 @ 138. I won't tell you guys what my first pass was. IT SUCKED! LOL! Now I need to order a sproket for sure.

You still did better than my first time.Weird how the speed doesn't seem the same as on the street.

I wondered why the baseball kept getting bigger. Then it hit me.

Went back to the track and got down to 10.21 also went 10.26 & 10.29 @ 139-140. I got the 60ft down to 1.8 but my buddies were watching me and said I wasn't getting full throttle fast enough. Anyways, it was in improvment!
