Just got back from the dyno!

I am very happy today. Went to Ryan Schnitz to get dyno tuned with my buddy on his Busa. 2000 A1 with full Arata and BMC race filters on 89 octane Marathon pump gas. 170.14 hp,92.66 tq straight off the trailer on my "home tuned" map. After tuning it made 174.63 hp and 94.60 tq and it runs much smoother! Bike is all orig with 14000 miles and it still has the Kleen Air crap on it and orig clutch. Most of my buddies say his dyno is pretty conservative. On a side note Ryan dynoed a 06 GSXR1000 with full Yosh&PC right after mine and it and it made 159 hp & 77 ft.

Thats awesome. I think I am happier! I had my 2001 done on Fri. and it made 183.3 with 96.9 (stock motor, just bolt ons). Same thing he had a new '07 gsxr 1000 that hit 162 before me. Man I like that orange. 174 was all he could get out of my muzzy that I used to have. Last time I had mine done there was a dude there with another 12 that had an arata that hit the same 174. Did the busa get a pull in?

Wow!! You made some awesome power! What exhaust/other bolt ons do have and were you using pump gas? The thing that struck me is that Ryan Schnitz said by other dyno results on his dyno that my 12 seemed to be "one of the stronger ones" for having just exhaust and filters. Yes, the Busa got tuned too. It made less power but due to the fact that he had the softest Shinko and he is extended so that would cut his numbers down. Plus he was tuning on the new u4.1 which seems to be a joke. His injectors were at 97% duty cycle and it was still a little lean with only a 4hp increase over 87 oct pump gas. He has only a full Muzzy exhaust and made 164 on the U4.1 but the thing still needed more gas?????

Yea I know I was suprised. The mods I have are Ti-Force full ti system, K&N's, Hans monster snorkel, Bear short stacks, Klean air blocked off and removed, timing set at 3 degrees, Marchasini wheels, complete Muzzy clutch and Falicon billet basket, mechanical timing chain adjuster, hell this could take all day. Those are a few that I think made a difference.

Just curious. Where was your peak HP made. Mine was right at the top. 11,600.

all that is done is a hindle stepped exhaust that is good for 15 to 20 hp between 7-9 grand and a powercommander.....thats it....Mike bumped the advance 2 degrees after 6 grand and its just right where its suppose to be....... smooth throttle and blinding acceleration after 7 thousand... its all that I need for now...

Good numbers! My Mike Velasco built 1361 makes 212 rwhp, and 124 ft/lbs torque. I'm sure he remembers it. He called it the Bike from "Hell," after cyclebarn screwed it up. It has the pciiir and full akro. I've often wondered how it would do with the hindle ?

The hindle is good for the 7000 and up range...I mean it has 75 lbs of torque at 4000 or so..that's not to bad...I had a akro on my ZRX and I love the sound and the look but the Hindle fell into my lap for 375 bucks and so I had mike put it on..... It works well.....You like me can tell the world about the virtue of mikes work also...hes a pro and a dam nice guy too....

I believe that the following is true:
SAE = corrected to 29.23 InHg of dry air and 77 F
STD = corrected to 29.92 InHg of dry air and 60 F
(STD will always be about 4 % higher than the SAE)
Uncorrected = no correction factor has been applied

There is my sheet. I guess mine is STD also. Since it says CF: STD. I guess that what that means. You know what I notice that is strange. When you look at Dragonknee's sheet, notice how his engine falls off sharply at like 10,800 rpm. Then look at mine. Makes peak at 11,600. That was where Ryan was letting out of it on the dyno because I was closely watching. I find it odd that Dragonknee's bike makes huge power between 9,500 and 10,800 and mine made the power between 10,200 and 11,600. Just an observation. Wondering if anyone had any thoughs on this???
