I don't know...pull the plugs first and look to see if they are melted or not getting a good contact.

Weak magnets in the flywheel rotor??

Not common by any means, but not unheard of either. Have them check the stator output...

This guy is being funny on an inside Joke! Kawasaki has had all sorts of problems with the Stator Plug leaking oil from the engine. To get to this plug, take off both seats and on the Left side of the bike under the rear cover there is a Rectifier that has 2 sets of Connectors. Take them apart and if you see ANY Oil, you have this problem also.

Take Brake Cleaner and seriously clean these connections and plug them back together If your problem goes away, then keep an eye on this area because it can leak Oil on to your rear tire. Kawasaki did a recall on this and the fix was not perfect to say the least. Let us know what you find

You may want to check the Bulbs and see if they are the 100W Kind? 200 Watts vs 100 Watts and slow driving COULD make a difference and maybe the wires Heated up and drain voltage, so look there!

I believe they had a recall on it, they repaired mine on my 2003 zx12r for free under the recall.
