Picture post question?

why does a red X appear sometimes shortly after the photos are working correctly,, is it in the server on the photos end or bikeland?

I think it's because the photos are no longer available on the server where you stored them. That's what happened to me. I was using Google pictures and they worked for a while, then disapperaed. Now I use photobucket.

I use both imagestation and snapfish.

The ones hosted on snapfish post a little bigger. don't know why

Imagestation only allows you to link to the 640X480 or so size. The use to allow linking to the full size pictures, but stop that a few years ago. Probably bandwith issue..

i use image shack they upload whatever size they actually are on you puter.
and they have cool embedded codes so ou just copy and paste here and the picture pops up.

dude that pic is huge, there's an option on photobucket to automatically put them the correct size for a message board:

I dicked around with all the freebie bullshit picture hosting sites for years and finally got fed up and bought my own damn website.

Now I can host what I want when I want as much as I want.
