WHERE DID THE GREASE GO

Using a hand pump grease gun I pumped about 1/2 of the tube of grease into the fitting on my rear swing arm and could not see any coming out of the side bearing areas. Has anybody here greased their rear swing arm and if so, how could you tell when you had put enough grease in????????

I solved the problem. Looking under the "Periodic maintenance" section of my official Kawasaki motorcycle service manual, I found these instructions. " Force grease into the nipple until the grease comes out from the right side of the swingarm pivot."
