seth,
do a forum search on RC370's I went down the path you are headed on. The 370's will fit with a lil modding and prodding, but getting the TB's back on is REAL tight. I did it, but ...
As you know, i have a brand new set of 05 injectors but they are smaller than my 00's bottom line is that 05's won't fit in my 00 and i think that the 02's = 00's..

Sort of. We used 550's on a Turbo application, I used 370's on a N/A like Entropy's. No matter- the fit issues are the same. They are worth the trouble, I think Karl will agree.....

You have to space the rail up about 3mm because they're taller. That means the rail just touches the bottom of the frame. On a stocker you can remove the FI rack with the engine bolted into the bike. With the bigger squirts you'd have to tilt it forward a bit . Can you get it out at all, Entropy? I never tried it with the engine bolted in.
Doug.

Seth,
I can't imagine what 550's would be like to tune, and 370's get the duty cycle down by 10% so why 550's (unless turbo)???.
Doug,
I had my 370's modded just a titsch so they go a lil deeper into the rail, and the rail isn't quite as tall as it would be.
but even with that mod it is a REAL pita to get the TB's on/off the motor without tipping the motor fwd. I did it once but used up a mo supply of curses & knuckle skin getting it done.

At what level of modification would 05 injectors be advantageous? Would it do anything for a 02 12 with a 1287 and head work or is it more for the monster motors like Entrophy?

I would use the 370's on anything over 190 hp. The stockers will support 200 hp but you're moving towards the edge of a sustainable duty cycle. As I'm sure Entropy will agree getting the ectors down to a 70% duty cycle or so gives a much more tinable set up with a nice stable A/F.
