Would this work
This is probably a dumb question. Will a 05 ZX12R complete lower end mount in a 01 frame. I've been looking at several diagrams and from what they show, it would. I know the blocks are the same, so you could switch the heads. Let me know.

My understanding is the blocks are the same, that the frame mounts on the cylinders are what are different.
If you drop Five 0 a pm he could tell you for sure. He buys a LOT of zx-12r motors mostly for sale to circle track racers.

It'll fit. Only difference as far as frame fit are the bosses on the head.
