zhooligan;s 12 put's the ZX12R in a new light fer me... wow... after seeing z's 12 and sitting on it, I have to say that it has to be the nicest 12 I have seen to date... and I've seen lots of them....
I had been considering trading the 12 in... but after seeing his setup, I must say that I truly look forward to making some of the modifications he has done...
z... post some pix of yer bike in this thread and give a brief description.,..

.... I take it swft's bike must be equally as nice, if not nicer but since he never shows up I never get a chance to see it!

Thanks for the compliment! It has been fun putting it together. Did have a bad experience coming home on the ferring after meeting you all. The ferry boat captain thought he was running a salom course and my 12 ended up falling over! Did minimal damage, but I will be ordering parts tomorrow.
Thanks again for a nice evening

wow, shitty. i imagine they take no responsibilty for a bike tipping over right? for that matter, does insurance even cover that?

I am sure the insurance company would pay but I don't really want to mess with my insurance rates. I guess this one is on me.

I had fun, finding most of the stuff that is on ZHooligan's bike. The Corbin seat and LP carbon fibre front fender actually started life on my red 12. As much as I'd like to have a carbon fibre tank, I just couldn't justify the scary prospect of doing business with Rico. It's been a blast finding all of the very best components for a ZX12R. Now the question I have to ask is this:
Do I do it again for a 2002 12R, or should I see where I can go with a 2002 ZZR1200?

that would require me understanding the fu@^^&(g digital camera and then knowing how to post pictures. I will talk to swft about such things. The bike is being taken apart today to install the stroker crank. Probably be down a couple of weeks.

Damn, I looked through all the photos I've taken, and can't find any good ones of Z's bike. Thought I would have at least got a couple! ____________
