Check there site as they have a specific stretch for thier bolt, or just call them up they are real nice folk. I think max torque is 45 ft/lbs, but they go by stretch more than torque. I do not know for sure, but I think the A-beams have different bolts than the H-Beams which have the sps mutiphase ones.

ROD BOLTS
If you are installing new rod bolts of any kind you should put them in the rod first, then while holding the assembled rod in a rod fixture, (or a soft jawed vice) you need to torque the bolts to spec for streatch. The rod big end should then be resized before using the rod in the engine. This is the right way to do it, although I know of some who just reuse the rod without resizing it.

.005-7" stretch, not to exceed 45#. Mine generally run 35#.
Mule,
I agree about re-sizing when/IF the rod big end gets oval. If not, why re-size?

My ever-suffering heap is my "Senior science fair Project" and does get some attention
BTW: I thanks you much for the loan of the stock arm. It is newly painted (OEM gray), greased, and ready for return to you. Turns out it was a bit short for the Mile, and i had big wheelie probs, next time i'll go extended.
When I get back to Texas, I'll send it back, Thanks, amigo!

Resizing , or at least checking, when ever you replace the rod bolts is a good idea. Most rods wil be okay, but it's always a good idea to check them when you have the engine apart. It's just good cheap insurance. Rods tend to streatch and distort a bit under use, Etc.
