Stock Bore Piston Swap
If you change to a stock bore piston (but not the stock pistons), do you need to replate the cylinders? My bike has 20k on it with no apparent problems, doesn't use oil.

I have a "Few" Measuring tools and I measured my cylinder for wear and only needed to use the Bottle Brush. Sometimes a Light Hone through the cylinder will clean thing up. The #1 point of wear is the place where the rings stop at TDC and the explosion knocks the piston sideways on it's way back down. If that section of Cylinder is in good shape you are usually in business. Also they can make the piston a few thou larger and leave more on in the cam grind process. The size of the piston around the rings is not as important as at the Skirt. On my Bighorn Road Racer I actually removed 0.020 from the diameter of the top of the piston to about 0.250 below the bottom ring so that when the piston grew it would not seize against the cylinder wall.
Hope this answered a few questions for you!

I haven't decided to swap anything yet. If I did, it would be in order to safely take a bigger shot of nitrous.
