Listen... I had this on my 12.. drove me fucking NUTS all last season.. no matter WHAT I did to adjust the bearings (which were TOTALLY loose BTW) nothing solved the shake.... my 12 just had it's 10K service... what this involves specifically re: forks I do not know, however it is my understanding that they take them apart and also change the fluid in them etc....
Shake is now GONE.... bike is soo stable.. rides like a different machine... I believe it was swft who suggested that the shake may be due to unequal volumes of fork fluid...

I wish I could take credit for that, but I don't recall that! I may have suggested looking at the forks, because of the great difference having them rebuilt has made for me.

Forks.... Even though my bike wasn't doing any shaking I can safely say that having the forks reworked on the 12 was a good move. It's a different machine in the twisties.
GMD Computrack reworked mine and put heavier springs in them, Circuit One compression pistons, and a custom revalve. All I can say is that it was worth the $$$$$$. I have more adjustability now than I ever had with the stock stuff.

Sometimes it is as simple as the fork tubes are not straight in the triple clamps. You might try to losen up the triple clamp bolts and spin the front tire and then snap on the front brake. Do this a couple of times.
Also are your fork tubes set at the stock height? If they have been raised significantly you will definitly experience head shake!
