Muzzy clutch question
I just bought a new Muzzy Clutch assy and have some question's. I took the basket assy off the bike, put it back on making sure the gears were lined up so the oil pump would turn, I soaked the fibers in oil for 2 hours reassembled everything. The bike does run much stronger although I do feel a slight and I mean a slight slip when getting on it at or around 10,000 rpms. Is this normal, is there a break-in period thats why I'm feeling this, etc. Besides lining up the oil pump gear and the crank gear is there anything else to line up. Maybe I missed something.
Thanks

Do you have free play at the clutch lever? Look at your clutch through the oil fill hole and make sure the pressure plate isn't bottomed out on the basket. You may need to adjust your stack heigth.
