I
I will know 100% Tomorrow when I put it back on the Dyno, But I have just run the engine at all of the RPMs and conditions that made it Miss and it ran / Sounded as good as it ever has.
I made a LOOOOOONG DIstance call to a Person thaty had been there and DOne that Waay too many times and has cured many of his own problems. "Pierre Labuschangne" (BEAR Engineering) in SOuth Africa.
I told him the Complete problem of what happend but nothing of what I had done. The FIrst and Only words out of his mouth were "Have you cleaned your Injectors"??
I had to tell him that I never even "Thought" about looking at the Injectors! SInce it is not easy to clean them perfectly I had another set that I put in. While looking at them I saw that #3 and #4 were slightly Yellow Brown (Very Light shade) where the others were 100% clean. Anyway, I did the change and a few other things I had to get done and started the engine and could not make it miss!
Now tomorrow to finish the Safety Wiring and put the fairing and seat back on, Dyno and PAck up and leave!
Thanks to everyone, I hope we all have learned something here!! I know I have learned a Lot more than I ever wanted to and like Peggy said, "You are pretty smart with these things! Why are you having so many problems??" My Answer is "The Price of doing things MY WAY!!"

whew, glad my idea was not the problem
makes sense though; bad backfire could do some damage up the intake tract further than some would expect.
good deal!

I have metioned in multiple threads to have the injectors cleaned to maximize performance.
After 13,000 mi., my 320cc injectors had one unit flow as low as 313 cc/min.
Also, after 17,000 mi., my 330cc injectors had one as low as 311cc/min.
I prefer to have all 4 "engines" running as equally as possible.
RC Engineering does a great job for around $24 per injector.

Were you using the 330cc injectors on a 12R? If so, could you provide some information? Thanks!

are injectors something that i should look into upon rebuild of my zx-12 1375? perhaps larger injectors? shes got about 10K, all hard miles. ill mention that to joey hahn when i drop my bike off on friday. anything else i should look into to maximize performance? my bike has spent much time sitting in hibernation...
vince- glad to hear that you may have found the root of your problems.

Why are you getting the 1375 rebuilt? Problems? Or just on principle?
