Beau Lauber and I go to KCIR last night for the Thursday night bike races. Pretty decent turn out of bikes at least 50 or so I would imagine. A couple Busas, 2 or 3 12R's and a Blackbird for bigbores, oh yeah 1 Gixxer1k. So Beau makes a few passes early on and eventually they tell him he can't run anymore because of not having full leathers, this after he talked to the Tech guys for 15 minutes about it. Kind of bullshit if you ask me. Anyway on to the story. Beau leaves and I hang around to the end. There one was one guy on a green 12R lowered down and strapped, running some low low 10's so I walked over to his trailer when he was loading up just to chit chat. He had burned the clutches out on the previous run and was over for the evening. I asked him what his best time had been and he tells me, like a 10.10 or something but had ran 9.80 at a previous races. He proceeds to tell me how his bike has ran 152 mph at a previous race as well. So I ask him if he has the Muzzy clutch kit and he says yes, but not the "regular Muzzy kit" but a "special kit" that isn't released to the public yet. Ok about this time my bullshit meter is working overtime on this guy. So I play dumb and ask if he has the Falicon Basket, sure enough he has that too. Anyway this dude goes on tell me how he is doing testing for Muzzy, trying out this new Muzzy clutch kit, yadda yadda yadda. Oh yeah he has some other parts on his bike that he can't say anything about of course. So I keep playing the dumb act and say wow thats pretty kewl testing for a big company like Muzzy. I tell him good luck and walk off.
Do I have idiot stamped on my forehead or something. I just don't get these fucking guys who have to outright lie and brag about shit to try and impress or shine someone one. I think he is gonna get a big suprise next week at KCIR. Oh yeah his name is Ernest. Ever heard of him Doug Meyer?? Please call bullshit on this guy..

I am really going to try and make it down there next thursday night!!!! Im going to try and sneak out of work early!!! Id love to get some tips from this Ernest Guru!! maybe he will want to line up and show me a few of his tricks.. eh..Im always up for a lesson!

Hey Mike if you come down let me know..... I can only go out for about 45 minutes at the start of the night... I can get there at 6:00 and stay till about 7:00 at latest... Thats my pool league night... Have to play have to lose the next 3 weeks before the playoffs to keep my handycap low..... Sandbaggin..... But would like to ride out and meet ya......... Richard....

Ernest has a brother..... I'm sure of it..... I met this guy at KCIR today had a 900RR. Since there was only about 10 bikes 6 of them Harleys I thought I would make conversation..... I asked him If his 900RR was pretty quick.... He told me they clocked him @ 213 MPH but they won't let him run that fast here today. Also said he ran a Busa and got the holeshot and beat him by 12 or 13 bike lenghts...... ...... What to hell is the world coming too........... The Highlight of the day was watching a 1991 600 Katana and a 2000 or later 88 inch 1450 Harley run... The Harley redlighted .3 something R/T and the katana had a 1.1 R/T.... The 600 ran him down from behind and won...... A 2000 dollar 600 and a 20 plus thousand dollar Harley... Like they say if it don't go chrome it...... Mad Mike you coming down???????

No I will not be able to make it now.. good news/bad news happened this weekend.. good news won the event in Eddyville. on saturday night (lucky!!) but hey a wins a win... but in the final the bike felt very very weird and I fell of .2 in a 1/8th mile. clutch was smoked very very bad! warped steels and all... but I had this weird vibration, very very weird... so I am going to pull the motor, today got most of it done just have to drop it tommorow and split the cases and check out what is up. I think it is something in the transmission???? but wont know untill tommorow.. but I did run a 6.05@121.6 mph in the 1/4finals... and that made me feel very good... so I dont think I will have my bike done and back together by this thursday evening... so I wont be able to make it down, but I will definatly make it down another thursday!!!

Where can I get those nitro boosters for my 12? And I have a tacj measurer for my bike already it is still 4" diameter. Wondering when it will increase. I mean I piped it, shouldn't that matter?

You should have told him you work under cover for muzzy's and you will have him arrested for slinging said Bullshit. It must not have been a very good clutch because he wasn't running anything special.

I could probably make it from 6 to 7.... We should all ride our 12's over to him ...... So tell us more about this highly top secret clutch that even Doug Meyer doesn't even know about it yet...... We are here to learn... School us oh great one.... Ernest didn't he make all those movies?????
