03 MOTOR ON A 00 FRAME
Hello Im new to this site, I was told this is the place to get help with the 12Rs. my question is what mods will it take to put a 2003 motor on a 2000 chassis. has any one here done it yet? also I hear of guys running the 00 heads on the newer motors, whats the advantage with that? ........ thanks for your help!

Motor mount in the head is different. 03 cam sensor that is mounted on the end of the exhaust cam is also different. You will need an 00 exhaust cam(not sure if you could just put the 00 cam sensor on the 03 cam) if you are running an 00 wiring harness. Other than that you should be fine.
