After loading timing and fuel maps I am getting some pops below 5K when dropping off the throttle. Do you raise or lower the numbers on the PCIIIR to correct this?

shit... I know the answer to this cuz I spent hours and hours last year but I cant remember..... I know thta it was the OPPOSITE of what you had to do to remove backfiring from a carb'd bike... shit... add... yeah.. add fuel...
