Sonomafest motorcycle only drags Wed.!
It only happens once a year, SONOMAFEST! Last call for the motorcycle only drags (no cars!) at Sears Point Wed. evening...
Couldn't find a truck/trailer so I'm riding the bike 65 miles up to the track anyway. Come on up & blow my doors off!

You going to AMA Sunday? I am, will have new front tire put on Sat so not going insane headin out there but am headin all the same.

let me know how maddog 20/20 does. he's got the triple dragster. was running 8.20s/8.30s. was at our booth this weekend but did'nt have a chance to start it.

Brokenbow: Don't know if I'm going to the AMA National yet as I have a trackday on Monday entirely dependent on if I catch a lift w/an aquaintence up to Thunderhill Raceway. This will be my first time to do a trackday @ Thunderhill so really looking forward to it...IF -I get a ride up/back.
The guy whos MAYBE giving me a lift hasn't got back to me yet with a go/no go. If I don't get the lift up to Thunderhill Monday, I'll probably go to the National Saturday as there are Superbike races both Sat. & Sunday. The cost & crowd are smaller on Sat. too.
I want to cruise the pits to say hi to several friends who are racing the National. Easier on Sat. than Sunday which is pretty hecktic...

Update: Just got a call from another guy going to the trackday who has room in the trailer. I got a ride to Thunderhill! Check it out:

So, looks like I won't make the National...can't afford drags, National, & trackday all in one week. Someone record it for me...
I will bring the digi-camera to Thunderhill, hopefully get some good pics...
FYI, many openings to Thunderhill Monday the 1st (due to cancellations), only 15 riders for the track all day. We need to gather a few more if possible... $185...
