Drag racing weekend. Took my silver bike out to the strip. First time I had thrown a leg across it since putting the pingle bars on it. Rode it up and down the pit roads, it didn't feel too weird, despite the strut rear end. First round, I was a little wound up, and broke the 207 loose right off the line. Bike went sideways right over to the line, had to roll out and straighten up. Not an auspicious start! But I did pull out a 10.33 earlier in the day. Got a slick coming!

Dang, with the "bars" ya gotta have a slick! I bet you spun all the way into 3rd! You should have taken the bars off to see what it would do.

DITO!!!
You would have been MUCH better off without the bars AND with the shock still on the bike...
You should just try "driving it off the line" like you would in town from a stop-light...roll it on...and go through the gears...
NINES FOR SURE!!!
NOT as "easy" as you thought it would be...huh...
I ran 2-more 9.24s in a row Sat. night and WON the Street ET class a Gville with my DAD there watching Drag Racing for his first time ever
Could NOT have been a better night for me

Ah! Well, I suppose I'll run into him at some point. He lives quite a bit north of me, up on Whidbey Island.
