stock exhaust A's vs. B's

Is the stock exhaust on the first gen (00/01's) the same as the later models? Will an 02-later fit on a '00?

I recently returned my '02 to stock, by installing the stock exhaust from my 'ol A1. Fits/works perfectly.

why would you do such a thing?
my stock piece of shit is collecting dust on a top shelf as garage jewelry- and as a reminder (and conversational piece) about how restricted my bike *was*.

I bought it with a RS3 full pipe, and it ran like crap. I tried some maps, not much better. I was curious if there was some other issue that was causing it to run so bad. It runs great with the stock Howitzer on there. I parted my '0012R, and sold the Akra...damn. Did'nt think I'd buy another 12. I'm thinking about new bikes anyways, and my 12 is running very strong. Stock pipe, gears, even the clean air. My buddy's Busa with pipe, EMS etc. has very little advantage on me, and he's 100lbs lighter. Actually, if I get perfect shift points, on a good day, he can't go around me. Must be runnin' purty well.
