wwent to a dyno drag deal in e. peoria il 2 yrs. ago but it didn't measure h.p. just mph/1/4 mile times... i won the event trophy,no nos or turbo bikes .. my 12r went 8.62@166mph on thier unit. what'sup with that? at Byron, I mustered a 9.9 @146mph! do all the dyno drag machines read this way? i'm 215lbs in gear... in a drag frame w/2-step and all the electronic crap, would my 1270 score these times? a.j.

Thanks! Here's a pic, sorry it was off my helmet cam which has 800x600 res.

Reason you went so fast on the dyno drag is because you were able to go WOT so much sooner! You had no wheelies to fight off, you could just pin it. I bet it you could stretch/slam/wheelie bar your bike w/a monster clutch to hold an extrememly high RPM launch and the traction to hold it too you would be.... at least somewhat closer....to those times.
1st nos run @ did 9.81 @148. It takes practice......

A 2000 12 won the dyno shoot over a huge field of Busa's. And the 12 only has a muzzy pipe and thats it. You guys should have heard all the excuses. The dyno is reading low. The dyno has hot. The operator was cheating somehow. But to add fuel to the fire, the owner had to remind them that a Kawasaki won last year and I won on my 12 the year before. But you guys know how it is. The 12 is not respected at all. Especially around here. And I have noticed that the 14 is know catching hell from the Busa crowd.

Hey Bergie,
Mike was there...he has a new turbo set-up...capable of 1100 RWHP...he was having some minor issues and couldn't/wouldn't dyno. Still looks pretty similar ... wheelie bars, nos on the bars, etc. Huge downpipe/exhaust....lol you would think this thing came off an 18 wheeler!
"Technically" he can't "Win" anymore because he is now Co-owner of Fast Lane now with Rick. I'm happy. Gonna pick up a new laptop and MAYBE tinker w/maps before Bonneville...got a 43T rear to add to the 44-46 I have.
Peace,
Ali
