Is it just me

I have a 05 ZX12 that I brought last year. Before the 14 came out it was always said that the 12 was faster than the Bu Busa. No other bike was compared to the busa but the 12. Is it just me but does anybody feel the same ........

1) The ZX12R has been pushed down the line as a has been. We compare the 14 to the Busa more than we do with the 12? Not all but most.

2) If this is true........ Are we like the Busa camp can't admit defeat! or do we feel that the mighty 12r is still in the running?

3) Does anybody feel that Kawasaki will revamp a new ZX12? or will it be like the ZX11 and fade away?

I love my zx12 from the looks to how it runs! I did jump on the 14 because.......I feel that some major upgrades will happen it the near future. Especially when the newer and faster bike comes out. Which if it does happen most of the 14 owners maybe piss off because Kawi should of made the 14 to blow everybody out of the water. The numbers show it's the king but it also show that the numbers are close enough to catch. My feeling.......LONG LIVE THE ZX12R

The 12 does beat the Busa on top end and in bracket racing because the 12 is more consistant...

What did you do to your 12???

Set your bike up for the DragStrip and I'll race some stock motor Busas and watch what happens The problem is that the 12 is very hard to get low ETs out of but when you learn how the Busa guys start complaining that you have a motor, nitrous or some tricks in there

Thats why Kawasaki made the 14 easier to ride, to be more competative!!!

the 12r is hard to get low et's because of its short stroke.. However it does post very good mph.. At the strip i see 12r's walk the busa at the 1/8 mile part of the race to the end..

The 12r is the most underrated bike ever built just like the zx9r.. Keep your 12r untill the make a zx12rr or zx13r... or design your own..

How do you explain it is more consistent? That is in the rider........., and watching the weather, setting dial ins...........

I have watched Craig Treble's Bracket busa be unloaded of the trailer, and run dead on what was on the dial in card , that bike is wicked consistent when he rides it, ...........

Stock busa motor .................

I will go along with all you said but that,,,,,,,,,,, I have seen all kinds of consistent bikes, 12s win alot because you are good, I am good, Mike is good, Patrick is good.............etc........., if I missed anyone that bracket races a 12 and kicks ass on a reg basis, sorry, please list your name here........., lol

maximus, you just broke my rotten heart..that's my old 1991 zx11 .i put 57,000 miles on that bad ass bastard in 10 years then sold it for $ 5700.00.i had a muzzy full system and other goodies. never once got beat on the street.stock engine .that is the only year for that paint job.if i ever wanted to repaint my 2000 12r it would look just like that.i wish i never sold it but no room for 2 bikes.1 of my ridin buddy's has a 92 that is tight. ....referbed if you will..he lets me ride it. it feel like getting a hold of an old girl friend.
