I gotttta say that the nitrous bottle and air shifter have a somewhat Terry Gilliam appearance to them. I don't doubt they work, but like the AC ducting in 'Brazil', or the bare monitor tubes in the Bruce Willis movie by him, they are seriously disruptive to the appearance of the bike. But there's no helping that, really. Unless someone wants to make a solo seat with room under the rear portion for a bottle, etc.

A small cheater bottle might possibly fit under the tail??

There's no room under that seat... you'd have to saw the stocker in half and make a custom solo seat IMHO.

That fuel management system that Rob is gonna be marketing for the ZX14 has been around for a few years now. I've set-up some HD's with that system & actually have it on my 124" Bagger. It's a closed loop fuel management system w/ data logging capablities.
Here's the link to the guys that I believe to have created it.

The modern engine is actually easier to cope w/ than the nightmares of tuning a Radical Air Cooled V-Twin that in theory shouldn't even work!

Hmmm, I see gas in my future
I'm sure I will enjoy it combusting in my 14, more than by inhilation too! ____________

ZX1KR,
Actually I'm pretty sure that's not the basis for the box Rob is using. Although, believe it or not, I never took off the seat and actually looked at it. I was too busy riding!

Funny, thats where i mounted my air shifter bottle. But it's black and blends in better. I took a clamp for a coil off a car and it slid right over the CO2 bottle...drilled a small hole in the frame and put a bolt through it...works great.

Okay now i am conmfuse if you have an 174 hp bike put a 50 dhot on it how in the hell did they get 240. To me 174 + 50 =224. What really going on. I believe in gas and am goign to get botht the shifter and the gas set up but man that seem like the jet they use would be something like a .36 jet to get than 240hp

Bishop! That was just me saying the SAE HP because they use "STD" HP
183 plus a 60 shot is 243 STD HP.
SInce SAE is "ABOUT 5% less than STD HP that would make it about 174 "SAE" HP. Add a 60 shot of STD HP Which is about 57 SAE HP that totals about 231 SAE HP.
SInce most of us use SAE for Comparrison "I" Made the rough estimate difference so we could compare to our bikes. The #1 thing the 14 has that the 12 does not is Torque. Some where between 10 to 12 more stock!

All i am saying id that 240 - 183 = 57 so i am saying that the muzzy kit seems to be more of a 60 shot instead of the advertised 50 shot in comparing std to std. Even it is only 231 sae hp it still is a lot of booost for an everyday rideable bike

I hear that! I'd be doin the same thing w/ 240 ponies under my butt!
As far as the Close loop thing. The guy behind that system is real knowledgable.
Just thought that it might have come through them. Their HD system has all the same
capabilties. Just alittle speculation on my part.
Still got your hands on that monster? Must be nice. I'm Jealous.

Like I said, dry shots are VERY imprecise. Atmospherics have a lot to do with it. Getting the optimum A/F with a dry shot is pretty much a matter of chance everytime you hit the button.
Add in the ram air and what do you think happens? The instantaneous A/F is different at every speed, isn't it.....
None of that surprises me in the least. I'd be amazed if it DID repeat within 10 hp.
