looks clean, much cleaner than other signals ive seen so far... is that an 03?
you ought to do something about those nasty rubber brake lines man... i cant believe manufacturers havent switched over to stainless steel braided yet.
put over 200 miles on zx-14 today, im starting to like her more and more...
but theres nothing quite like a zx-12r.

Yes it is 2003 dam i love that 12r, I will change the brake lines here soon,i would like to also install a power commander this summer some time. But those lights fit perfect and they already come painted, all you have to do is install them. The only problem is i had to wait like six months to get them and that sucked ass. but it was worth it. when they light they light up in an amber color, bright as hell. In the rear i just installed LED bulbs. You know i had the bike for three years and i look at the 14 and i just love that 12r's look better, I would like to buy a 14 maybe in a year, hell i even kept my 91 zx11,i might have a whole collection thing going here.

Ry,
thanks for the offer! But... no need.
I've got one coming from RAyers, and I've got Buddy's parts to borrow from if it gets delayed.

Jim........I spoke with him about his motor and it seems his shop won't do any work on it for him. So he's lookin for a new place to fix his shit. I've suggested to him on more than one occasion that he work with the guys here that have stroker 12Rs.The knowledge here between you guys is probably stronger than anywhere else he can go. BUT! from the noise he described to me it sounds like that same failure Canadamaxxer had with that snap ring popping off and allowing that shaft to contact the clutch basket. He says that it had a noise coming from the clutch area a few days before it broke. It was enough that he pulled the cover lookin for it the way I understood what he told me. He didn't see anything and put the cover back on, BUT at the same time I don't think he's very mechanically inclinded. He had a shop do all his motor build up. If they didn't know about these stroker motors desire to KILL themselve's it would have been easy for them to fuck up the assembly. That's my best guess as to what happened.
OK Mr. Countersteer let's GET R DONE!!!!!! These guys will set you on the right path if you ask them!!

what a waste of such a beauty.....and the mechanicals too were gr8....
look man if gunner is right bout your shop...then there's no better place....bikeland....these guys will help you out like anything.....the best part even they're learning at every moment....
i've been silently following their work...especially Y2K's big bore setup....the way he went with it was awesome...like turning pages of a motorcycle bible.....so get down and save this bike.....its too sexy to be left to rot.....if i had the money i would have had it shipped to my place and re done work on it no matter what....so do it man.....save it....

waste? she aint goin to waste!
started putting aside some money, still paying bills out the ass for everything else in life- its gonna be a challenge getting her back in proper running condition.
i dont trust myself enough to actually do engine work, or anything beyond cosmetic stuff (basic maintenance, and pulling all plastics etc, nothing that can actually cause damage if reassembled wrong- shops warranty work most of the time). i simply just dont trust myself or have the confidence or experience to just rip into it. im probably just going to drop engine off at orient express over winter and see whats up. right now im not too attentive to a broken bike- just been focusing on the zx-14.
i like the zx-14, but i love my 12.
