First post from new house
The last few weeks I have been busy working on my new house. Garage door openers, garage paint, garage floor paint then it was time to work on the wifes kitchen, they didn't offer any tile we liked so I had them put in the cheese formica and when we closed I tiled the thing and I have to say it turned out fantastic, everyone that has seen it just starts to drool. I cut out 6 panels out of the cabinets and replaced them with glass. Installed the doggy door in the wall and finally started to move. Got most of the new furniture delivered and finally got my tool box moved today, tomorrow is hang new cabinets in the garage and start organizing. Built a new bench and covered it with a 1/4" plate, good for welding or anything. This is the first break I have taken in two weeks and just thought I would share a bit of info.

Good job on the new place....low interest rates and shorter term (10 or 15 yr.)debt is good stuff.........although cash is best

Let me get a few more things organized and I'll take some pictures. The garage is starting to take shape now and have started moving the stuff over, you would not believe how much paint, polishes, cans of lube, and just shit I have collected. Right now my hands are so sore I can hardly type. I have to got to go to work to rest. But on the bright side it looks like the weather is going to be nice so I may be able to take the 12 to work this week. Like I said pictures to come after the place is a bit more organized. Tables to arrive Thursday and hopefully window coverings shortly after.

Fish, there is always another house. We got lucky and found a 2841 sq ft place that fit what we wanted. Anyway moving is a drag. Kiwi, hopefully open house will be next month.

Congratulations Ted!!!
Sounds like a really nice place, especially the garage!!! We just closed on a 1 acre lot Monday so our new home journey has just begun. I'm hoping that we will be in the new place before it gets cold but that means I got to get cracking.
Please post some photos of the work you've done, I need some ideas!!! What did you do to prep the garage floor before painting it and what paint did you use???

BMW I used muratic acid mixed at about 20 to 1, just enough to kinda bubble when it hits the floor..(nasty shit  ), then rinsed it with trisodium phosfate (spelling) to neutralize, then rinsed. I got the paint from a place here in Sparks(Reno) called Masco (775-359-9161) they make it there. It is a 2 part epoxy that is the shit. $72 for the mix, 2 gals total and that covered the 3 car with a bit left over. I have a friend with a hanger out in Stead that has the floor done with it and after 5-6 years it still looks new even after having big planes parked on it for years. And those things always leak.

Latest update, Got the patio all poured, stamped concrete with cobblestone edges. Sprinklers and sod is in. WMFO getting it done last weekend. Still haven't found a place to post the few pics I have taken. The garage is almost done, only thing left is to finish plumbing in the pressure washer and run 220 for the TIG. Found some awesome lights for the garage, high output floresents, instead of 40 watt bulbs they use 120 watt bulbs and they will work in subzero weather. 2 8 footers and a 4 over the bench and the place is lit up. Still haven't got the rest of my furniture. Goddamn MOR said 2 weeks for the entertainment center. It has been a month and they say 3 more weeks. Assholes. If I had known that I would have bought it elsewhere. But now I have to get my condo ready to rent. Damn it never ends.
Rode the 12 a bit today, and it was a peach of a day. Someday I will get this done and have time to read through the posts and talk about bikes again.
