Question,, (lower case)
still not sure if my pan or case are damaged,, but i have a question,,if there is a small hole caused by a bolt shield underneath the motor,,(not sure if its on the pan or the case),, but i bottomed and the impact sent one of these half moon shaped bolt shields through to the other side,,(actually it made its hole and is just jiggling in place right now,, i can feel the hole with my finger,, and its about the size of half a dime (coin),, provided it is the case,,worst scenario,, do you think this is weldable,, it very small ,,but i dont know how much pressure there is in the case or if it would make no difference.. just trying to get a picture of the bottom,, so i can see more clearly,, there a 2 of these bolts underneath each has a protector that is about a half inch long and protrudes slightly higher than the bolt head,, the one that got pushed through is the forward most one,, thanx

Relax. Easily repairable. Drop the sump and take it to any good TIG welder.

Yep. Sounds like the ears on the oil pan. Cases are probably ok. If you cant fix it you can get a stock pan off Ebay pretty cheap.

those ears,, do they partially surround a bolt,, if they do then it is the pan,,, and that would be a relief,, from what i felt,, there were 2 of them,, front and rear on the clutch side of the bike.. make sense??

Yes the ears partially surround the drain plug bolt in the bottom of the pan.
