lol.... look at the dyno chart, the 14 is making about 10ps more than the 12 at 6k rpm.

Yep, you're right. You should read the whole article 
On the dyno the 14 has more power. On the street you clearly feel a flatspot below 6000rpm.
Or so they write...

zxlnt...Why not give your version of a ZX12-14 comparison, after a back to back ride???

I can probably do that. Right now the 12R had the footpeg brackets and stuff off it being powder coated. But a couple things quickly. The 14 has much much better brakes. It steers very quickly and lightly. The suspension is too soft for my fat ass. When cold the 14 pulls HARD HARD down low. I mean if we can get this cold/warm mapping restriction figured out its gonna be real fun to ride.
The way it is now once it switches maps it doesn't have any low end power. From say a 70 mph top gear roll on my 1270 would ass rape it badly.....

on this german report is says that the zx14 has 49mm throttle bodies.. I thought they were 44's?

However I'm not so sure it would when the bike is running on the cold map. It pulls HARD on the cold map.
