I hate this to be my 1st post, but this Japanese Article may shead some lite on things. The ZX13.5 really isn't what it's cracked up to be. In my opinion the ZX12R is a much nicer bike. BTW I'm not posting this because of envy as my garage consists of a 2002 480 HP Turbo BUSA, 2001 650 HP Turbo BUSA and 2004 220HP GSXR1000.

Good job dan &chad! I'm on the IOM, practice starts tomorrow for the TT.
My wife bought me a new ZX for my birthday...... a ZX-4R..... 1996. It's fun to ride though.Here's a pic taken yesterday.

Badass dont forget that Suzuki had the GS1150 which was only an 1135 NOT 1150. So you go right on ahead calling the ZX14 a ZX13.5. Suzuki fudged things years ago.

that dyno is of stock zx-14......... before and after break in... the 5 hp was gained by breaking the bike in on the dyno...... that is all.
