Back in the day!

Dam i was just cleaning up the 1991 zx11 and the giving the 2003 zx12r an oil change, when i started to remeber my old 85 gpz ninja 900, then I bought the 91 zx11,now im on the 2003 zx12r but i kept the zx11. Fun and fast times, I remeber back in the day when the zx 11 was the bike to beat and nobody could do it. But out of all the bikes i have to say that i love my 12r, and I hope maybe i can add a zx14r to my pages of history.

man i bought one just like yours new in 91...muzzy full system, jet kit.corbin.polish wheel lips, tinted screen, advance rotor, viper alarm, remote radar, etc.i put 57000 miles on it in 10 years.never lost a race on the street....saw a busa and new it was time to power up.i bought a red 2000 zx12r now with 33500 miles and have never lost a race on the street or at the track with bikes that have the same mods. as mine... a zx14 will be in my garage next summer i would think....oh yea my great friend tom has a 92 zx11--45000 miles and he let's me swap bikes all the time. that bike is tight still ,with race tech mods and all. it just feels like home to me.i love those bikes . he has a 2000 zx12r also, green.

I had an 88 ZX0. Repainted the frame and wheels metallic mauve and all the plastic black. Had a V&H SS2R full exhaust, K&N filters, V&H ignition module with advance rotor (can't remember what the kit was called), and jetted. It ran great. Sold it when I bought the 02 ZX2R.

I took it out yesterday and man it still has all the pwoer and it does still feel tight, i just cant bring myself to selling it, I have no mods on it other than just geared it down one tooth in the front and the K&N air filters, but dam she runs tight and fast. i just regret letting the gpz900 go, I would have owned a piece of Kawasaki history, I to believe that I will buy a zx14 next year, its going to be a nice collection.

Ahh...Maybe you should buy a '1' key kit for your keyboard.
