Salt Flats Run?

Hey guys (Vincent I know you probably know this!)

What is the current speed record for a zx-12r at the salt flats? Any records for the zx-14? I'm thinking about getting into top speed runs and I'm just curious what it takes to win .

I'm not positive, but I think this question has come up before. My bike (current 2000 streetbike as a 1340) ran high 190's while burning pistons in 2000 (no power commander available yet). In 2001 on Rob's 1340cc '01, I set the naturally aspirated record on gas at 205+. Mike Corbin's (Muzzy) turbo 12 went 219 on 11 pounds (boost controller failure precluded more boost) to become the world's fastest bagger. I'm not sure if any 12's went faster in '03 to '05.

Hey thanks Doug!! 205+?!!? jeezus. Ok, looks like I have no chance of setting any records, but I'd still like to go to try it out!
