The owners manual describe a few models ( Australia, Malysia, UK, HR, UK, US, Canada, California etc). Is there a way using the engine or frame no to id this? If not, how can I id my bike. Please help.

Not sure about 06 model year but older bikes have couple of things to tell the difference. First the Cali model has this chlarcoat (not sure about spelling) tank that holds the fumes from the fuel tank. Australia and Malysia have different number exhaust than the others. Of course the US, CAL, and UK model have also MPH speedo and the North American models the EPA information on the exhaust can. I don't remember those exhaust numbers from memory but they are explained in a service manual so You can check it from there - there is also online versions floating around if You don't have paper version. There also is other small differencies but those are the most apparent.
