air switching valve
Anyone have any issues with the air switching valve? I've done everything under the sun, plugs, filters, injectors so on and so on. Manual provides some clues and gives some tell tale signs. what am i getting into with this? any help would be appreciated. It's an '04 12r. thanks in advance.

I'll bite,what is the air switching valve?Is that part of emissions crap?

Air suction valve. It's in the owners manual as i was just looking through it with nothing else to do. The parts diagram says switching valve and the manual says suction valve. Probably something with emissions. Kleen air system maybe. I'm guessing this hasn't been an issue with too many people then. Maybe it's been discarded with the kleen air crap. Sorry, just not much of a mechanic.

Yes, that's one symptom. Idle is a little irregular also, what i read in the manual, it said the air suction valve should be checked if you cannot achieve steady idle, or abnormal engine noise. with no experience with this kinda stuff, i thought i would ask and see what others have done or have they had to deal with it all.

What mods are on your bike?
We get the Cali Kawk models here, I took all off the Cal emmision and KlEEN air with my Muzzy f/s pipe.
