Looks like we are back!!

I could read everything yesterday, but when I tried to post it would not recognize me. So really this is just a test.

I am still working out a few bugs, it didn't take me back after posting. It seemed to lose my username and password. Maybe it will work this time.

Nope, It still doesn't work!

I can get on here fine, I can post. But after posting, instead of going back to the thread, it wants me to sign in again. Then it rejects my name and password. Whats UP ??

Fish, for the computer illiterate like me, how do I clear my cookies. Even my 16 year old didn't know.

It worked with my last test, so I haven't tried it again. I hope this one does too.

that can be tricky with IE. it doesnt have real good cookie control in my experience. u can clear them all at once, but then u lose ALL cookies, which is a bad thing if u have cookies u want for other sites. u have to delete the actual file IE writes for each site. In earlier version of windows 98 at least, they will be in C:\WINDOWS\Cookies. Should be same for win95. for later versions of 98, or people using 2000 or (i think) XP, it should be in something like C:\WINDOWS\Identities\\Cookies
or
C:\WINDOWS\Identities\\Application Data\Internet Explorer\Cookies
the files are named according to the site, like anyuser@bikeland[1].txt or yourlogin@www.bikeland[2].txt
just delete any files with bikeland in them

just wanted to mention...

Sorry for the cookie troubles... it comes mainly from all the changes we've had of late. Not only the server change, but more so the way the board operates, and the fact I had to alter it to pretend it was zx12rzone.com for the duration of our "bikeland.org" unavailability.

I have just changed it internally back to bikeland.org - so it should be happier for the next while. [although this may cause some temporary cooky troubles for others who have been accessing solely as zx12rzone for a while now]

Next revision of the software... I think we'll have to remove some of the silly internal requirements that the people who originally wrote it put in there! Silly quacks
