Changing brake fluid
I am changing my brake fluid on my 2000 A1. I used a mityvac with the calipers on the bike. Then I noticed the brake lines and bleed valve are at the top of the caliper and wondered if the fluid in the body of the caliper was even changed.
Do I need to remove the calipers or is there another preferred method?
Also, how often do you change out your HH pads? Do you wait for them to wear out?
Thanks Again for the help,
Steve

You did just right. You have to bleed as long as the fluid seems clear. Of course there will alway be some of the old fluid left. But it dosen't matter that much as long as You change the fluids regularly. Alternatively as I see that You're bike is '00 model You could change the fluids again after couple of rides. I wear the pads untill they are near the end of their lifespan wich means about 2mm left.
Did You remember that the back caliper has two bleed srews? The another is onte back side.
