ZX14 Speed Restrictions
I have seen all of this information about how much power and Drag Race Times, but no one has talked about Top Speed and what is needed to achieve that! What Gives

I thought I read somewhere that one of the mag guys hit 190 indicated on the oval...I don't remember if that was in Fishman's article or on dragbike, though.
Other than that, I haven't heard a definite # for restrictions.

I read that too... but I can't remember which one either... He said that the 186mph limiter kicked in while the speedo was indicating 200mph.

No one hit a 190 indicated on the oval...
where'd you read that?
didn't happen.. not even close..
I think the closest anyone came was 180 indicated or just short of that.
The average speed of that rider (motorcycle.com/ Sean Alexander) was 131 and change... Track is much smaller than ya'll think.

I saw the same thing .. It said one of the riders was bumping off the rev limiter at 186 on the oval track and the speedo was reading 200....... So mat is not seeing things ....

I've read that article and it said that he reached about 150mph before he had to break it down for the corner. He said the track is a lot smaller at that speed which is a tru statement. You'd be surprised at how fast the curves sneak up on you but then again, Not for you guys. EEEEEEYYYYYYYYOOOOWWWWWWWWNNNNNN!!!!!!!

What Greg is telling you did not happen as far as we know (pinned into the limiter down the straight), and we were actually on the oval Greg also did not ride the oval, even though he had the opportunity to do so.
Toolman... driveline lash left no impression on me either way (didnt stick in my head) so I cant say there were any issues.
KHI engineers tried to describe their crazy system for eating up lash... it was lost in translation.... Mike might understand better than I did but they spent some time (waving hands) describing system of flex points in the swingarm etc to aid in this... I dont want to say the wrong thing so I'll have to dig through the reference material...

F.A Did you guys video the event ?, I did notice in the pictures of the World press release that there was a professional video camera there , any chance of getting a copy From Kawasaki ?
In my opinion there is not enought video impressions of big bore machine's, lots of stunt stuff but no rider impressions of current Flagship machines . Were dying here
